This past weekend I was lucky enough to be a part of two of my best friend's, Margaret & Steve's wedding celebration! It was such a beautiful wedding and we couldn't have asked for more of a perfect day.  The wedding was at a Catholic Church in Doylestown, PA followed by a reception at The Aldie Mansion. I had never been to the Aldie Mansion before and was taken away by the gorgeous detail.

We started off with a delicious breakfast and mimosas at Crystal & Company in Flemington. I was lucky that the bride chose this salon since one of my oldest friends is a stylist there! I was able to catch up with her while she made me pretty!

 

 

After our hair we went back to the bride's parents house to get ready. Here is Margaret opening her flowers & card from Steve. Awwww!

These are our dresses lined up and ready to put on! Margaret wanted to have a pallet of colors for her wedding so she chose fuchsia as the base color and let us pic whatever dress style we wanted close to that color.  Some of the bridesmaids live far away so this was the first time we got to see them all lined up together.  We were all so happy with the way they looked together. (Mine is on the far left!)

Margaret looked absolutely stunning in her wedding gown. Her hair piece was made out of a brooch that belonged to her Nana and the style of her wedding gown was a tribute to the gown her mother wore for her wedding. This was right when we all started tearing up.

  

I had such an amazing weekend and I couldn't be happier for my two friends Margaret & Steve. I'm so lucky to have gotten the chance to share their special day with them! Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs.!

IPA Day 2012

Yesterday was IPA Day and as big craft beer fans, Brook and I had to celebrate! We went to dinner at Isaac Newton's which is one of our favorite places and has a great beer selection. The food and beer was awesome! What a fun Thursday night!

OBX 2012

I just got back from an AMAZING vacation in OBX with friends.  My family has been traveling down to the Outer Banks in North Carolina for over 40 years. I can't recall my very first trip there because I was only in my mother's stomach! Going there in the summers growing up has been a blessing and it's always been my most favorite place in the world.  I've always dreamt of moving there because it's like my second home and where I feel most myself.  The first time I took BHB there he fell in love with it too! Now it's our to live there someday. This was I think the sixth trip we've taken there together.

On the trip I bought some Tervis Tumblers with my bestie LBP! We actually each got a third one after I took this picture. We limited ourselves to 3 for the trip ;)

(Not so) Baby Sister's Graduation

Okay everyone it may be hard to believe but I am officially OLD. My little sister graduated from High School! I seriously can't believe it. She is seven a few years younger than me and we're best friends! I took off a half day so I could go to her graduation in the morning.

Brothers of the Sun Tour 2012

Happy Monday, everyone! This past weekend was so much fun!

I have been a Country Music fan for a long time all thanks to my pretty Mama who raised me listening to it. I have been going to concerts with friends for years' now and decided it was time for me to take her! She has LOVED Tim McGraw forever so I knew this year's Brother's of the Sun Tour with Kenny Chesney & Tim McGraw would be more than perfect.

On Saturday I asked my mom to come over to my apartment for what she thought to be shopping and helping me decorate more. We've been living here for a little over 2 months but more needs to be done. When she arrived I surprised her with the tickets. She was so surprised and excited!

We met my friend Aly at her house and drove to Philly together. Here are some pics I took that day. I apologize for the poor quality pictures but I took them all on my phone!

The night was so much fun! I loved getting to take my Mom and even more, surprising her! I'm so bad at surprises but luckily I was able to keep this one a secret until that day!

Hawaiian Bridal Shower

This weekend was the bridal shower for my good friend Margaret. I was honored when she asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding this August. The bridesmaids and I decided on a Hawaiian themed shower because her and Steve will be going to Hawaii on their honeymoon.

Finally a Blogger!

My first blog post...so exciting! I've always loved the idea of blogging but never knew what to write about.  After spending so much time following other blogs I've decided it's time for me to give it a try.  I love looking to blogs for fun ideas and inspirations and I hope that I can do the same for others. I suppose I should start by introducing myself.

My name is Jessica and I'm a jersey girl born & raised.

-I studied Marketing at Kutztown University in PA.
-Family is the most important thing to me. I have a huge family but only one younger sister, Sarah.
-I love shopping! Some of my favorite stores include Old Navy, JCrew, and Lilly Pulitzer.
-I love working out and eating healthy!
-OBX, North Carolina is my favorite place in the world! I love the beach in general but OBX has been a place my family has been going forever.
-My boyfriend BHB (Brook) and I have the cutest golden retriever in the whole world! TEDDY!
