Home Office Prep Part 2: Seating

I am currently trying to put together a home office since my new position at work will allow me to work from home full time (see first post here). I have been using the same black swivel computer chair for years and it is seriously time for a new one! Or at least I think so :)

I have been debating back and forth on the type of chair I want. I'm putting a lot of thought into it because it is something I'm going to be using every single day and they aren't exactly cheap!

Here are some chairs I'm loving.

What kind of desk chair do you use? Do you have any style recommendations for working at home?

Delightful Dupe!

I have to admit that like almost every girl out there, I am obsessed with J.Crew puffer vests! Last year I missed out on the Herringbone one so this year I scooped it up as soon as they came out! Score!

For a long time I have also been eyeing the Camo one. I'm not usually the Camo type but something about this vest just caught my eye so I caved and bought it. My hesitation was A. I'm not sure I'm going to wear it that much and B. It's almost $100. My instinct left me with C. I love it so I'm going to buy it anyway! Since receiving it I do in fact love it. My cousin LMD helped talk me into it because she got the same one. (And the herringbone -twins!)

One day I was browsing blogs like usual and found that Old Navy carried a Camo vest almost identical, in girls, and about 1/3 of the price. I quickly went to the website to find they were sold out. I checked store pick ups around me and saw that the Old Navy near my Momma's house carried it! I called her and she was nice enough to go over and grab one for me!

I got an XS in the JCrew vest and my mom was able to pick up an XL girls in the Old Navy vest. The camo is slightly different and the J.Crew one definitely fits me better but I can't help but love the cost of the ON one more.

Home Office Prep

I recently started a new position at work that will allow me to work from home. (Yippie!) I am nervous, excited, eager and ready to take on the change! Naturally, since I'll be working from home soon I need a home office! I have a space in our basement with a desk but I want to decorate it and make it fun and a place I won't mind sitting at all day/every day.

Charm & Gumption has the cutest prints! I can't wait to get some and get them framed. I'm thinking a collage wall would fun to do and collect different prints and things to hang (and a monogram!).

I'm also obsessed with the Poppin collection of office supplies! I recently ordered some from Staples and am so excited for them to come! I love all of the colors they offer but I decided on the pink and green.

G&T and SOA

There aren't many shows that BHB and I watch regularly together besides new shows we get into via Netflix. The two that we do watch together that are current (we loved Entourage but that is no more) are The Walking Dead and Sons of Anarchy. If you don't watch either of those I recommend them! I would call them boyfriend friendly. Lol! Tonight is Tuesday which means SOA for BHB & me! We added some G&Ts to celebrate some new work changes for me!
