98 Degrees & OTown

GUYS! This week my cousin & I channeled our twelve year old selves and saw 98 Degrees and OTown! My cousin works at the Sands Casino and sometimes can get free tickets to things last minute. She texted me and asked if I wanted to go and HOW COULD I SAY NO? We had so much fun singing and dancing to our old favorite songs. What made it better is they did a lot of covers of other popular groups from the time like N'SYNC, Backstreet Boys, and Britney Spears.

Were you on team 98 degrees, N'Sync or Backstreet Boys? I was an N'Sync girl myself :)

Chelsea's 30th Fireworks

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. On Saturday, BHB & I went to Berkeley Heights, NJ for the annual fireworks! Later this month is my best friend Chelsea's 30th birthday and her husband planned for all of our friends to surprise her and be at the fireworks! Chelsea & her husband go to the fireworks every year so she definitely didn't suspect anything. It was so fun to all get together to celebrate Chels and enjoy the amazing fireworks! If you're from NJ and haven't been to the Berkeley Heights fireworks I recommend you check it out!

Did you do anything fun this weekend?

Thursday in Portland

Every vacation that BHB & I go on with family & friends we usually like taking one day just the two of us to spend the day together and explore. Last week while in Maine we decided to take a day trip to Portland! We visited three breweries, drank some amazing beer, ate some great food and went to LLBean so I could take a picture with the Bean Boot. BHB is such a good sport <3

The Holy Donut was amazing!! My favorite was definitely the maple bacon donut.

At Allagash, they give you a token for a free flight when you visit!

Have you ever been to Portland?

The Maine Event

Hey guys! BHB & I just got back from our summer vacation in Maine/Vermont. It was an amazingly relaxing week and I'm sad to be back home to reality.

For our vacation we spent a week in Maine with my Uncle, Aunt, two cousins, Teddy our golden & their morkie, Penny. The Friday before our rental was scheduled we drove up to Vermont and spent one night there. You know we're craft beer nerds so we decided a night in Vermont was the perfect way to stock up on craft beer we could bring over to Maine for the week.

We visited two of our favorite breweries, the Alchemist Brewery and Hill Farmstead, and stayed at The Old Stagecoach Inn. The Old Stagecoach is the cutest bed & breakfast in Waterbury, VT with the BEST made to order brunch. It was built in the 1800's and said to have a haunted room or two. We like to visit Vermont as much as we can and Waterbury is our favorite town to stay in. The Stagecoach is walking distance to our favorite bars & restaurants so it was perfect for our one night stay. We ate at one of our fav restaurants, The Reservoir and got drinks at Black Back Pub.

On Saturday after our delicious breakfast at the Stagecoach, we made our way over to Maine. The whole week was nothing but relaxing, hiking, music, and lots and LOTS of lobster.
